Services
Here is the kind of therapy I offer, current group offerings, and what to expect during intake.
Expressive Arts
With a background in the performing arts, I love to bring play, creativity, and metaphor into our work and storytelling!
This can look like creating a playlist about a feeling or experience, creating a collage from old magazines, painting or writing, designing a diorama in a sand tray, or engaging in therapeutic roleplaying and character creation!
I’ve found that integration with IFS Parts Work is a great match with expressive arts work, particularly with my Queer and Neurodivergent people.
Somatic / Experiential
With training in hypnotherapy and EMDR, I love to move our work into the sacred, somatic, and imaginative space.
By regulating the nervous system with guided breathing and meditation, we can move into a mind-body state where intuition and emotion guide us instead of logic and linear thought. Time becomes loose and we can return to traumatic memories with more ease and safety, repair old wounds, and leave with an experience of healing.
I am particularly passionate about doing ancestral work, where we reach back to the experiences of your parents, grandparents, and beyond, working with inherited patterns of suffering.
Groups
As a former teacher, groups are one of my greatest passions! I often form groups in direct response to the needs of my individual clients.
The groups I have created include…
An RPG group for Queer and Neurodivergent adults
An RPG group for Non-Binary and Neurodivergent adults
An AuDHD process group for Women and Marginalized Genders
Although groups may seem intimidating compared to individual therapy, I’ve found that some issues are much better approached through peer support than what only a therapist can offer. It’s a fantastic compliment to individual therapy and often accelerates individual work at a more affordable price!

What to Expect
The Space
The office has a big, comfy couch and a rocking chair that can recline, many plants and art supplies, and has an east-facing window.
The office is near Gallatin and Briley Parkway in East Nashville. The office is a 5min walk from the WeGo bus stop (S Gallatin Pike & Broadmoor Dr NB) on the 56 bus with service to Rivergate.
There is a bathroom inside the office, should you need it. NOTE: The office can only be accessed by the staircase. There is no elevator access. Please let me know if this presents an access issue for you and we will see what we can do.
Intake
We’ll start with a free 20min intake call for us both to decide if we’re a good fit for one another. If we both decide “yes!” I’ll send you intake forms to fill out.
During our first session I’ll go over basic logistics, ask follow-up questions based on your intake info, and give you space to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy right now. Together, we’ll put together a loose plan for the focus and rhythm of our work!
Rhythm of Therapy
I balance structure and spontaneity. It’s important to me that we have general goals that we are working toward and I will offer a number of recommendations for how we can work toward those goals.
I also adore spontaneity and an attitude of improvisation. I adapt to what is most important that day and give you choice each time we meet for how you’d like to use our time. Sometimes we go deep and sometimes we chit-chat; both are important.
